In some respects it is sad in so far that the 2011 car is aimed at a totally different market than the original three wheeler Morgan which was daily transport for so many. Indeed, my very first recolection of travelling by car was sharing the back seat of my late father’s Family Four with my sister in the late nineteen forties.

I did acquire a Super Aero in the early seventies and enjoyed the beast with all of it’s trials and tribulations but like so many, I did not persevere in sorting out the various issues, prefering my Vincent Motorcycle at the time.

Would I purchase a new Morgan Three Wheeler today? Certainly as my advancing years make riding a motorcycle increasingly difficult. The Morgan Motor Co should take much satisfaction from the number of attempts made by various producers to emulate the success of the original car. However, few came close to succeeding.

I would dearly like to see and perhaps sample the 2011 variant of the Morgan Three Wheeler were the project ever to reach production although I may have to sell a couple of bikes to fund an actual purchase!
